Sleeping Habits Disturbances among Children with Inherited Blood Disorders

The furthermost communal inherited blood disorders in children are hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and α-thalassemia trait. Whereas, the problems can negatively affect functionality and range in severity on the children and adolescents’ health and quality of life. Which, pretend a significant health burden for them globally. Children's physical and mental health, as well as their performance and general quality of life, all benefit from getting enough sleep, where everyone from young children to the elderly, may benefit from better sleep. However, sleep disturbances are common in children and adolescents with inherited blood disorders regarding to the disorders’ symptoms, treatment and follow up. The group stage of children who had these sleep issues may experience severe negative effects on their general health, and detrimental impact on behavior and social relationships compared to their healthy counterparts.
