The primary objective of study is to compare the effects of different glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) on liver steatosis and fibrosis in patients with metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). A comparative cross-sectional study was conducted on 357 MASLD patients treated with liraglutide (n=129), semaglutide (n=118), or dulaglutide (n=110) for at least six months. Liver steatosis and fibrosis were assessed using transient elastography, with controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) and liver stiffness measurement (LSM) values analyzed. Multivariabl

The elderly have many challenges and vulnerabilities in using social media, but there is limited research that identifies the information seeking behavior of the elderly from the perspective of caregivers. This study examines the information-seeking behavior of the elderly on social media from the caregiver's perspective. The research focuses on the information-seeking needs, sources, and challenges older adults face on social media. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 elderly companions. Interview data were transcribed and grouped based

This study aims to investigate the factors associated with the development of tinnitus among Syrian workers suffering from noise-induced hearing loss. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 300 factory workers between 2022 and 2025. A detailed medical history was obtained, followed by pure-tone audiometry to assess hearing thresholds at the 4000 Hz frequency. The prevalence of tinnitus was 66.7%. The proportion of males was 89% in the tinnitus group and 91% in the non-tinnitus group (p = 0.879). The mean age was 47.3 years in the tinnitus group and 49.5 years in the non-tinnitus group (p = 0

Odontites vulgaris Moench is a traditional Mongolian medicinal herb widely used for managing febrile disorders, acute hepatitis, and respiratory inflammation. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying its therapeutic effects remain largely unexplored. This study employed a network pharmacology strategy to systematically elucidate the bioactive components, molecular targets, and signaling pathways associated with the pharmacological effects of O. vulgaris. Active phytochemicals were retrieved from chemical databases and published literature, and their targets were predicted using SwissTarget

To evaluate the marginal adaptation of feldspathic porcelain veneers bonded with pre-heated composite resin compared to those bonded with conventional light-cured resin cement. This randomized, split-mouth, double-blind clinical trial was conducted on 4 patients, each receiving a total of 24 feldspathic porcelain veneers (Shofu, Japan) fabricated using the layering technique. On one side of the mouth, veneers were bonded with pre-heated composite resin (Tokuyama, Japan), while the contralateral side was bonded with conventional light-cured resin cement. Marginal adaptation was clinically evalu
