Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM) is a prevalent infectious disease in otolaryngology. It is characterized by persistent discharge for at least two weeks through a long-lasting tympanic membrane perforation. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature published between 2013 and 2023 to comprehensively understand chronic suppurative otitis media and identify the prevailing research trends. All data from the study were extracted from the Scopus collection database, saved in RIS format, and then transferred to VOSviewer (version 1.6.16), NVivo 12 plus, and RStudio.
