Our study's objective was to examine how vitamin B12 supplements containing iron and folic acid affected haematological and biological indicators throughout pregnancy. The study involved 120 pregnant women from eight primary care practices, with 60 randomly assigned to either the intervention or control group. Biochemical and haematological measurements were performed at two intervals. Participants were required to have a healthy pregnancy, personal, familial, and obstetric history, and be aged 18-36. Blood samples were collected twice during pregnancy to determine the mother's blood group and

Complex, S-shaped root canals present significant challenges in endodontic preparation, requiring effective canal shaping while maintaining original canal morphology. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of two single-file rotary systems, AF Blue R3 and AF Blue S-One, in maintaining canal shape and centralization in simulated S-shaped root canals. Forty resin-based simulated root canals with S-shaped curvature were randomized into two groups of 20 canals each. Each group underwent root canal preparation using either the AF Blue R3 (group A) or AF Blue S-One (group B) file sy

Myoepithelial cells (MECs) are specialized cells of dual origin and have a unique mechanism of action and characteristics that distinguish them from other cells. They are essential for the secretion process by a mechanism that remains incompletely defined. The aim of this research was to investigate the expression and distribution of Bcl-2 protein in myoepithelial cells in the submandibular salivary gland after injecting biological toxin (in the context of drooling management), through an immunohistochemical study. A sample of 15 male rabbits was selected. 5 rabbits were a control sample (g1)

Health tourism has emerged as a significant trend in today's socio-economic landscape. This phenomenon involves individuals travelling to different countries to seek medical treatment, wellness therapies, or cosmetic procedures that may be more affordable or offer higher quality care than what is available in their home countries. As a result, many travellers are combining their healthcare needs with an opportunity to explore new cultures and environments. This study aims to review research on health tourism in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative and bibliometric approach. The data were a

The current investigation is predicated on the idea that all salivary PgE2 transcription is connected with HbA1c levels and that people with type-2 diabetes with periodontal inflammation have greater complete salivary PgE2 levels than non-diabetic individuals. The current investigation analyzed the salivary prostaglandin E2 and HbA1c levels in periodontal inflammation between individuals with and without diabetes. From the month of December 2023 to the month of May 2024, the investigation was carried out at the Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital/Lahore Medical and Dental College in Lahore, Pakista
