Dry Eye Syndrome (DES) is a multifactorial disorder impacting tear production and ocular surface health. The increasing prevalence, particularly in the elderly and women, is driven by hormonal changes and external factors. Inflammation is a key element in DES pathophysiology, and recent research suggests vitamin D’s role in modulating inflammation and tear film stability. This systematic review explores the efficacy and safety of vitamin D supplementation in DES. A systematic literature search was conducted across Google Scholar, SpringerLink, and PubMed using keywords like "Dry Eye Syndrome

Cancer incidence and mortality rates are increasing every year, not only in the world but also in our country. Therefore, we have the demand to scientifically research and with certain medicinal ingredients that have been used in Mongolian traditional medicine practice. The research was conduc

Burnout among healthcare professionals, particularly nurses and midwives, is a significant public health concern impacting workforce sustainability, patient safety, and healthcare quality. Validating tools for assessing burnout in Arabic-speaking populations is crucial for targeted interventions. A cross-sectional design was used to collect data from 218 nurses and midwives in gove

This study aims to compare the efficacy of traditional irrigation and sonic activation techniques in disinfecting root canals from bacteria. The study sample consisted of 20 necrotic pulp maxillary incisors exposed to the oral environment. The samples were randomly divided into two groups: Group 1 (n=10): Traditional irrigation without activation, and Group 2 (n=10): Sonic activation technique. Microbial swabs were taken using paper points before and after irrigation. These were cultured on bacterial study plates, and the bacterial colony count (CFU) was recorded for both aerobic and anaerobic

Our study aims to investigate the relationship between serum lipid derangements and risk of gastric cancer. A study was conducted at the Institute of Health Sciences of Pakistan's Ishrat Medical Facility in Gujranwala between January 2023 and November 2024 to assess the association between stomach cancer and serum lipid levels. 184 people with stomach cancer were screened, and a control group was created to exclude those with a history of diabetes, tumours, thyroid problems, persistent liver disease, or cholesterol-reducing drugs. Serologic positive for H. pylori IgG was determined using an im
