The Effect of Using Castor Oil on Breast Fibroadenoma Treatment: A Case Study

Breast fibroadenoma is one of the most common benign tumors among females less than 30 years old. Females are adopting treatment using alternative methods rather than surgical treatment for breast fibroadenoma. The current study examined the effectiveness of castor oil in treating breast fibroadenoma. A case study design was utilized. A female diagnosed with breast fibroadenoma used castor oil for more than 2 months. A breast ultrasound was obtained before and after using castor oil on the site of breast fibroadenoma to test the effectiveness of the new treatment. The results of this study indicated the effectiveness of castor oil in treating breast fibroadenoma by decreasing the size of large fibroadenomas and the disappearance of small ones. Patients with breast fibroadenoma could significantly benefit from using costar oil as an effective treatment. Using castor oil is a new alternative therapy that is used for patients with breast fibroadenoma.
